4tified Blog

Wow, what a great event at Blackstone yesterday. We had a warm reception from about 350 men for Christ, and it was very uplifting for all of us in 4tified. The energy we received back from the men was palpable and we talked about it most of the way home in the RV.

It was clear to us that these men of God were growing in and acting out their faith on this men’s weekend trip.  Everyone was extremely helpful in arranging this event and helping to get us set up once we arrived.  Special thanks go out to Edgar, Cyndi, Jeff, Justin, Chris, and especially Bruce who provided for this opportunity.  We all hope your weekend helped to reinvigorate everyone to go back to their churches and be the leaders that God calls us to me. Let’s all be those “Men On a Mission“. 

Maybe we will see some of you again next year at 4tified events in your communities. 

We have set the dates for round #2 of our CD Project!  We will go into the studio again the week of December 1st to record 4 more songs for the CD.

Round #3 (Final) is tentatively targeted for February, and we hope to have the CD finalized and ready for distribution before our 2009 season starts in the spring.  Our producers are Rob Maletick and Nathan Zwald.  Nathan is based in Nashville and has produced for many well-known artists. 

At 2:11 pm (EST) today (November 5th, 2008) Acadia Renee Geiger was born at 7 pounds 15 oz and 19 inches long. She has a full head of dark hair and a powerful voice.  Mom and baby are doing fine.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to add another arrow in our quiver. God has truly blessed us with 4 beautiful children, and, at a time of deep economic turmoil and struggle in our community and nation, we are reminded of God’s immense blessing and comfort in the gift of a child.  From our reading on Monday in Psalm 105 (v. 1-3): “Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.”To God be the glory! Have a wonderful day.
